Technology company SOFTEC has announced the expansion of its management team with the appointment of Alexander Brabetz, an experienced executive with an extensive background in digital solutions and enterprise transformation. His arrival is part of SOFTEC strategy to strengthen its presence in the Austrian market, where the company has long-term relationships with clients such as Vienna Insurance Group and Raiffeisen Bank International.&nbsp;

SOFTEC Strengthens Presence in Austria with Appointment of Alexander Brabetz 

Today Softec, a major consulting and software group, announced an important personnel reinforcement in its top management. Alexander Paál and Šimon Skrak will be its new members. Paál will lead the Czech branch in Prague, while Skrak will cover the development of the telecommunications segment in both countries. Both bring a wealth of experience in technology, consulting and digital transformation to the company.

Softec strengthens on two fronts. Alexander Paál becomes the director of Softec CZ, Šimon Skrak will manage telecommunications.

The winter season in Slovakia complicates the traffic flow on the roads every year. Deteriorated road conditions have been resolved with reactive road maintenance so far, which was expensive and unsustainable in the long term. Searching an effective solution, we teamed up with the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) and developed low-cost IoT weather stations, thanks to which we are able to collect more detailed data and thus more accurately predict the need for road maintenance. Microsoft Azure technology plays a big role in this success, thanks to which we can store data in the cloud and evaluate it in detail.

SOFTEC, in cooperation with SHMÚ, reduces road management costs and increases road safety

The technology company SOFTEC delivered and operates the solution NFINITY (www.nfinity.digital) – Contracting Platform solution for Slovak Telekom, a 100% subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. This is SOFTEC’s latest solution for fully digital customer verification and digital contracting using facial biometrics incl. document data extraction using OCR technology. NFINITY is a proven solution with unique references in the banking, telco and insurance industry. Operating the service in public cloud enables accelerated implementation and deployment with guaranteed high availability and service quality.

SOFTEC helped digitize the largest telco operator in Slovakia. Delivered and operates a solution for customer identity verification and fully digital sales.

The ongoing discussions on the shape of the digital euro will soon take a real shape. In the autumn, the European institutions are expected to discuss new legislation that will determine how it will be implemented.

His SOFTEC mission will focus on reinforcing the brand reputation as the preffered provider of technology services and solutions for the leading companies and government organizations in the CEE region, as well as boosting the attractive employer brand for the technology enthusiasts.

SOFTEC, a consulting and technology company, announced today that it has created a unique solution enabling companies and their clients to sign contracts with the highest possible legal acceptance at speed and at low cost, through the client’s qualified electronic signature with a qualified electronic timestamp. The solution is fully compliant with the latest EU legislation (eIDAS) and very user-friendly. The uniqueness is based on the fact that the qualified signature can be performed without prior preparation, without the need for clients to visit the branch and without other restrictive or procedurally demanding conditions, as is common when using a qualified signature. It does not require any special hardware, any additional passwords or actions. It leverages the current possibilities offered by facial biometrics along with identity documents, or various smart keys. The solution enables to keep the written form of the concluded agreement, while ensuring the identification of the signing client. According to the available information, SOFTEC is the first company in the Central European region with such a solution.  

Qualified electronic signature at speed and low costs remotely, on-premise, anywhere

He enjoys active movement and creating, which is reflected in his interests.
