SOFTEC, which recently announced cooperation with SHMÚ in the field of road safety, has achieved further success. Its intelligent winter road maintenance management system ROWES meteo for the Road Administration of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region, on which it cooperates with SHMÚ, won the ITAPA award for the most innovative project this year. The jury praised not only the special weather forecast model for winter maintenance, practical use for the public and the significant reduction in accident rates by 28%, but also the low energy consumption, greater coverage, ease of installation and affordability of the new IoT weather stations.

Softec won the IT Project of the Year award for its project of biometric (facial) identification of clients without their physical presence for Tatra banka. This happened on 4 October at the 18th IT GALA, where Digital Visions, the publisher of PC Revue magazine, announced the so-called Slovak "IT Oscars" for 2018. &nbsp;
