28. September 2017

Prague/Bratislava, 28.9.2017 – Softec, system integration company, and Komerční pojišťovna (KP),  one of the top insurers in the Czech republic, has agreed to extend their successful cooperation. This extension covers a number of major projects. The first two concern the preparation for the new EU legislation – the General data protection regulation (GDPR) that is planned to be effective from May 2018 and the Anti-Money Laundering 4 directive on preventing the use of the financial system for money laundering and terrorism financing. The GDPR consulting project is conducted in a close cooperation with KP and the Société Générale. Both projects help Komerční pojišťovna to ensure that it operates in compliance with the new European legislation. In addition, Softec will support KP in the SVIPO II project, which involves exchanging information about suspected circumstances in life insurance. GDPR represents one of Softec’s key cross-industrial offerings. Softec supports its clients in multiple areas such as system integrator, IT provider or business consultant.
